How do i address wedding invitations?
I am just about to send out my wedding invitations but I am not sure how to address them properly. What should I write on the envelope, invitation and rsvp? I was thinking for the invitations to write the guests first names as I don't want any confusion as to who is invited.
Who to list on wedding invitations as host?
I am the bride...My parents are divorced. My mother is not able to help pay for the wedding. My dad has so far paid for half the venue deposit, is paying for catering and I believe the music as well. My grandmother paid for my dress. We are basically paying for everything else that I KNOW of right now...my dad is one of those that wont sit there and say I'll pay for this, this, this, etc...but when it comes down to it he will or will say no. But none the less, he is the main parent paying for things. My in laws are supposed to help with the honeymoon, but thats it. I dont want to hurt anyones feelings, so I want to make sure I'm listing the right names. Any advice?? This is kind of the first wedding for my father out of 4 daughters my eldest sister barely had a wedding, and my other older sister just passed away in December ...and this is my in laws first wedding out of their 3 kids. SO that being said, I don't really have anyone to get advice about this from without it being biased. Thanks

Have no access to a computer to print invitations. Tacky to handwrite? I bought a kit with envelopes and everything so it wont be on printer paper and look cheap. Thank you

I just made my wedding invitations last night and noticed some minor mistakes, please help me :(?
So we made our invitations at home to save more money.So i noticed a mistake on the Mr. and Mrs. John and Marie Smith together with Mr. and Mrs Jack and Josie Smith the Mrs didnt have a period after it. Im just so concerned over that. One has Mrs. with period after and the other just has Mrs no period after What do u think about that?The second mistake on the envelope invitations we only addressed to the guy and not the women as well. How many wedding invitations do we send?
my fiance has a group of friends who we are inviting to our wedding. the group consists of a couple who are dating and two of their friends. We are a fun, goofy and off the wall couple and we want that to really come out in the invitations. A little background on us, he's from the country hills of no where, I'm from the heart of Detroit city. But it was for a Gay wedding?Okay, here's my situation. I'm gay and my boyfriend and I both live in NY and he proposed a month ago. We want to start planning the wedding now, but the thing is that none of my relatives besides my direct family know that I'm gay my parents don't want them to know . so I was just going to send out wedding invitations to all my relatives with a picture of my boyfriend and I.
