How to word my wedding invitations to include no partners?
My partner and I are having a small civil ceremony and wedding breakfast, for 56 guest. This doesn't sound that small, but we both come from large families, and I have divorced parents which doubles everything up. We are intending to only invite our friends minus partners for the day part of our wedding, and then invite their plus one partners for those in relationships, and a guest for those who are single for the evening part along with other friends. We are only inviting 10 friends between us because that is all the space we have. None of the friends in relationships are married. We have chosen to not invite some family members in order to keep our wedding intimate and about the promises we are making to each other, not putting on a show or a circus. None of the partners are people we socialise with. The point is, how do we word this I intend to have a short message printed on our 'save the date' cards, to try and ensure no offence is taken, and all are clear . I DJ Weddings.... it isn't about the cost of the wedding we're spending a large amount. Its amount our wedding day being spent with the people we will spend the rest of our lives with.P.S Our wedding is in our home town where all of daytime guests live Messy kat thanks for your comments. There are no engaged couples either. We are sending out save the dates because our wedding is on a Saturday in high summer so it is courteous to inform people in advance so that they can make decisions about their summer holiday arrangements and book holiday from work. Maybe that's a British thing?

Does making your own wedding invitations generally work out cheaper?
Than personalised ones already made?

Still in need of suggestions of websites for wedding invitations.?
I don't want to print them myself. I'd like to be able to design them and have them printed then sent to me. We have a big guest list 275 so I don't want anything too expensive. All suggestions welcome and appreciated

Cheapest way to get wedding invitations?
please

Looking for wedding invitations...?
Help I'm looking for a good website that sells pocket style wedding invitations. I can't seem to find any decent wedding invitations in my colors. I am doing a peacock colored wedding, so peacock, navy, silver, and maybe a little dark purple.

Online wedding invitations?
What do you think? Super tacky? We want to go eco friendly and we decided to make an invitation video but we dont know how to send it. Email seems tacky but mailing it on a dvd seems to defeat the purpose of eco friendly. Any ideas?

Cheap wedding invitations?
Does anyone have a website they recommend for ready made or DIY wedding invitations? I definitely want good quality, but most places want $4 & up for invitations and that's just way too expensive ESP considering how much I'm spending on everything else already. Please help

Who can print up my wedding invitations?
I want to know what business can print my wedding invitations for me. I have tried the route of making my own, and it isn't working to well. Would it be a place like Kinko's or Office Depot? What would something like that cost? Would it still be cheaper to buy my own printer ink and have a go at it myself or pay someone to do it? Help

How can i use my own paper to go sumwhere and print out my wedding invitations.do libraries do thay?

Mail the local wedding invitations or give them directly?
50 % of our guests live locally and the other 50 % will have to travel. I'm meeting up with a friend for lunch tomorrow. Should I give her, her wedding invitation when we meet or should I be mail it to her?The same goes for the others who live locally. Mail or give directly? Thanks I would never drive all over the city hand delivering our wedding invitations lol When I wrote hand deliver, I just meant when I have lunch plans with friends that we are inviting and that I'm already going to be meeting up with anyways over the traditional mailing.I have chosen to give directly to our family and wedding party and to mail to our guests. Thanks all

For wedding invitations do they have to be done with calligraphy writing ?

Homemade Wedding Invitations vs Non-Homemade Invites?
I am having a very difficult time finding wedding invitations, I don't know where to look anymore. I have a general " fantasy" theme, main color is blue, also having inspiration from some Asian Themes. I was considering making my own, but I am unsure of where I can get them printed, whether or not it will be expensive, and if it will turn out okay.In your opinion, do you prefer homemade invites? Or do you think they turn out boring, and cheap looking?
