Wedding Invitations Make Your Own

Question: Please can you give me ideas for photographic wedding invitations?

I'm a photographer and considering creating 'postcard' invites because I want it to be something I make and I think these will be handy for guests to stick to the fridge etc. The question is what do I photograph? I thought about something simple like 'Wedding Invitation' written in sand on the beach before a sunset ooor something like that but it CANNOT be cheesy :P I don't do cheesy and I am wondering if that would be a bit cheesy. I don't want a picture of us on the front because I like to stay behind the camera I dont want JUST a landscape photo I do have the ability to add text/ graphics and I'm pretty handy with all forms of digital editing I am VERY open to novel/ clever ideas I am also open to ideas that are created entirely on the computer it doesn' HAVE to be a photo/ Thank you in advance but please no cheesy ideas!

My invites had a picture frame on them and since my main wedding color was wild orchid, I used a pic of an orchid in that same color. Maybe take a pic of the flowers you'll be using?

What if you did a photo of the location where the two of you first met? Or a favourite park or something? Do you have your wedding flowers picked out? If so, you could do a closeup of a bunch of those?

Ok I thought to write you because you mentioned that you are open to ideas that are created entirely on the computer and it doesnt have to be a photo. :) So, there is a one website (see the link bellow in source area) that website let you create video invitation! This can be very unique, creative and fun way to create and send invitations. Life long memory for everyone. It is also free! All you have to do is create (record) a video message inviting guests and all. Then go to that website, register your self and then choose the design and upload the video message thats it - send to all your guests and that also has RSVP feature. They also allows you to add small beautiful picture gallery in that invitation so basically this is video/ photo invitations. I think this is the very unique, creative idea. Dont know if you would be interesting in something like this or not but just thought to share with you. :)
